Vitamin C keeps your arteries healthy

Last week a meta-analysis of 44 clinical trials confirmed that 500mg of vitamin C a day, more than five times the RDA, may protect the endothelial layer of the arteries from damage and so boost overall heart health for people who need it most.

The scientists from Newcastle University confirmed in the study that endothelium health was significantly improved with vitamin C supplements in people with atherosclerosis, heart failure and diabetes.

This is the hot spot for heart disease and thrombosis. In my latest Newsletter I explore how much vitamin C you actually need to stay disease free. I also explain the four combining factors that lead to arterial disease creating the ‘perfect storm’ for a heart attack. Knowing these makes it easy to make yourself heart attack proof.
