Watermelon Whizz

With its high water content, watermelon is perhaps the most refreshing of summer fruits. It is also very rich in betacarotene to keep eyes and skin healthy. Keep the seeds in as they blend into the smoothie and are packed with vitamin E.

Ingredients

Serves 4

4 large slices of watermelon, rind removed

Directions

1 Blend the watermelon flesh, seeds and all, until smooth.

2 Pour into glasses and serve with ice or blend the ice with the watermelon for an instant chilled juice.
