A very filling mixture that is good served with a simple tomato salad. If you can get hold of pot barley (unrefined barley) so much the better, as the GL score would be lower, but it is hard to find. The combination of beans and grains makes this a balanced source of vegetarian protein, while the beans also make this a good source of nutrients for methylation.
