Anyone who would like to be introduced to nutrition and how it affects our health and wellbeing
Those who would like to learn about good nutrition and how to implement it for themselves and their family
Those who would like to ultimately practice as a weight loss coach
Whichever category you fit into, the knowledge you gain from this course can help you and others lead a healthier life
The syllabus includes the following 12 modules:
- What is optimum nutrition?
- Why diets don’t work
- How to follow the low GL eating plan
- How to coach others following the programme
- Importance of digestion and its role in health
- Food intolerances explained
- Heart health: the basics
- Immune system
- Hormonal health
- Stress and its impact on health and weight.
The course is delivered by a combination of distance learning, webinar based learning & a 1 day intensive event.
What qualification does this course give?
For those who wish to take the written assessment at the end (compulsory for those going on to become zest4life Coaches but optional for other attendees), upon successful completion you will receive a zest4life Introductory Certificate in Nutrition
