That is the point of a 'fasting' day.
My first tip is to prepare properly to set yourself up for success. You need to decide what changes will make the most difference, stock up your cupboards and fridge with the right foods (and throw out the ones you want to avoid - you can give them to a food bank to avoid waste), set some targets and make some plans.
