As important as nourishing your body with optimum nutrition, is being able to connect with that deep part of ourselves that can be called spirit. In our 100%health survey, 88% of the top health scorers said they consider spiritual factors were important for health, while 81% said they considered themselves spiritual and 83% said that having a connection with nature was important. I believe that having a connection to spirit is a completely natural thing that we all can do on a day-to-day basis, and doesn’t require immediate conversion into a religion. If all this talk about ‘spirit’ makes you feel uncomfortable and your belief is there in no such thing beyond that which you can have direct experience of, you may find the simple exercises that follow, if done with an open mind, give you such an experience.

Exercise 1: “I Am” meditation
Exercise 2: Focus On An Experience Of Love
Exercise 3: Loving Kindness Meditation
